The Breathing Room is a free weekly online breathwork session, open to anyone who wants to explore what conscious breathing can do. You do not need any previous experience of breathwork, any particular level of fitness or any idea what you are doing. You need only to show up and breathe.
Each session opens with a short five-minute exploration of the physiology of breath: how the scalenes connect your upper vertebrae to your top two ribs and what happens when they are tight, what belly breathing actually means and how to properly activate the diaphragm, why you breathe the way you do first thing in the morning. Practical, grounded knowledge that changes how you understand your own body and carries into your life long after the session ends.
Sessions are hosted on Zoom every Wednesday, alternating weekly between 9am and 7pm UK time. The morning session suits those in the UK and Europe; the evening session opens the room to participants joining from the US and beyond.
When you register you will receive Zoom links for the coming two months in advance, ready to drop straight into your calendar.
Why Free?
Building a community around breathwork matters to me. The Breathing Room is an opportunity to experience this work without any barrier to entry, to come back regularly and to see what begins to shift when you make space for your breath on a consistent basis.

In person in Surrey
If you are based in Surrey, I also facilitate a regular in-person group breathwork session at Very Yoga in Reigate, every second Sunday at 10:30am. It is a beautiful studio and a genuinely held space.
